The manufacturer warranty is very misleading and this company seems to have a history of defective products. I purchased my PC (CyberPower PC Model C Series, Gamer Xtreme VR) from Amazon. As soon as I installed the PC, I got a blue screen. The blue screens continued but were infrequent enough (blue screened about 5 times during the first year) that I did not give it enough attention (this was my mistake). By the end of the second year the blue screens happened more frequently so I finally called the CyberPower customer support. The first time I called I spent 2 hours on hold so I hung up. The second time I called, I made sure to call first thing in the morning when they opened at 8:30 a.m. CST. This time I was on hold for 30 mins. Finally, the guy that answered told me that my warranty was only good for one year because I did not purchase it directly from CyberPower. Their warranty does not explain this (see below, I copied and pasted a portion from their Warranty Coverage narrative). I could not find where it says anything about 1 year coverage for labor if it is purchased from a third party. They say, “company shall have the sole discretion in determining whether product is covered under the warranty”. This is very deceptive. I spent some time looking up reviews on this company (wish I had done this before purchasing the PC) I found several complaints about blue screens and bad customer service. Overall, I will never purchase another CyberPower PC and would never recommend one of these computers to anybody.
Warranty Coverage - Company warrants to the original purchaser that the Product(s) shall be free of any defect in material or workmanship for a period of three years for labor and one year for parts from the date of the original invoice from Company. Except in the case of Notebooks, which carry a one year labor and one year parts from the date of the original invoice from Company. Company shall have the sole discretion in determining whether Product is covered under the warranty for labor and/or warranty for parts
The pc they sent is unusable because a stripped screw was put in crooked and cannot be screwed in all the way or removed so the ports are unaligned and therefore unusable. And a small piece was damaged and poorly soldered during the building process so that came off. Cant work without the computer, and customer service was unwilling to provide any compensation even though these dumb avoidable mistakes will leave me without income for 1-2 months. This was great to find out on Christmas Eve.

My computer came with a broken graphics card and windows not installed properly. When I called tech support I had the worst customer service experience of my life and was told I could not get a new graphics card until WE paid to return the broken one, he would not transfer us to a supervisor or anyone else, then hung up on us.
Firstly, I've been excited for this PC since late March. The shipping took over a month. Still super excited to receive it. Second, it didn't have WiFi capability (for us non-tech savvy people that should've been mentioned upon purchase). Third, it came with a disc to install software and no drive (again, should've been mentioned). Fourth and most important, it abruptly shut off and died on me within a week of having it in my possession. Turns out, they power supply tanked. You may be wondering- it's a brand new PC... how did it die in a week? Well, I am wondering the same. When agreeing to receiving a new PS and having a hold place on a payment card until I send back the old one, I did not expect that process to not even start (were on day 4 now) until lord knows when. Then, once that goes through I need to wait ANOTHER 7-10 for the product to be shipped to me. All of this- absolutely not my problem. When asking if they can expedite the shipping, they told me that would be an extra charge. Why if your company messed up? Also speaking about customer service- the employees are certainly lacking in that department. Instead of empathy, respect, and integrity; I received a callous, rude, and demeaning response. This company is more worried about bringing in new customers with their deals and sales rather than rectifying ongoing issues with their CURRENT customers. The company is one of the worsts I've ever bought with. Long story short, I do not recommend and please do your research before buying from Cyberpowerpc. Try not to look at old reviews but look at the newer ones, you may be shocked they are not so good.
They do not answer tech support calls and they sent me a broken computer. I payed 3400 and got a hunk of metal that does nothing and I have tried for the entire month to get ahold of them for a repair or a refund and they don't respond or answer. The return period is now up and I will have to try and get it repaired elsewhere. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

For all those "it's about what you'd pay for parts reviews" out there that think CyberPower gives great value, let's start with RAM prices. I can purchase 64GBs of RAM at a 3600 MHz speed and decent timings for $300. At Cyberpower, I pay close to $600 for similar speed RAM and only 32GBs. Other parts are acceptably marked up (20-30%), but don't get your RAM here... its a sham.
Computer took 3 months to come in, and numerous support calls, many of which were simply dropped after holding for awhile. When I did get through, the support rep was sassy, unhelpful, and clearly overworked. The "sales" team member assigned to my custom order which I emailed several times would simply not respond most of the time, and when he did, it was one line responses, leaving questions unanswered. I asked in plain English at what point it might be too late to cancel, followed by a "I DO NOT WANT TO CANCEL" disclaimer (I'd been waiting for 2 1/2 months). Instead of responding, they straight up canceled my order, and with no response email. It took going through my emails and connecting with support to fix this. They did, with much sass, and to this day, my order status page reads "Invalid".
When ordering the computer, you have options for "premium" services that should honestly just be included, like padding around your GPU, or shipping on any parts that you have to RMA. I purchased both of these as I was obtaining a high-end product. Again, should be included. Unfortunately, the GPU still came jostled around and was DOA. I attempted to use their online form to kick the process off myself, but after not hearing back, and assuming it would be like my previous support experiences, I made the effort to call in the RMA. It took 3 calls. The first two were disconnected after 15-20 minutes. The third finally went through after 59 minutes on hold.
The rep was extremely helpful, listened, had good insights and questions to validate the problem and had me with an RMA in 4-5 minutes. Best person I'd worked with so far. From then on however, it has been radio silence. I fortunately purchased their premium warranty so shipping was covered (its crazy that I had to do so), and tracked the package. After arriving, I graciously gave them 3 days and then requested an update via email. No response. I followed up several times more via email. No response. Fortunately, I happened to see a UPS shipping notification in my inbox with some shipment from CA to me, but the shipment is in limbo with no delivery date. I don't even know for sure it its CyberPowerPC because they haven't informed me at all on the status of the RMA. Tried calling UPS, but CyberPowerPC (if it is them even - pretty certain it is as I have no other packages I'm expecting from CA) has set things up so that UPS will not allow me to self-service on delivery of the package.
To sum things up... if you order from here and get a good PC, congrats on winning that lottery to obtain your expected value (if it doesn't say anywhere they are going to do something, don't expect them to). Otherwise, if you have any kind of special requests of problems down the road, good luck. Near as I can tell, the entire company suffers from lack of accountable employees and actually thought through business processes with the customer in mind.
Obviously, I will not be purchasing from here again. If this RMA's card doesn't work, I will be exploring getting a charge back on my card since they refuse to answer my emails.
If I could Rate this company a 0 I would have . If your gaming pc messes up , good luck getting in touch with the company . I bought Mine at Best Buy. They said that cyberpower would not allow them to do work on their PCs within the year of purchase . The motherboard went bad after 2 months . 6 1/2 hours and 15 emails later I went To Best Buy demanding my money back . Horrible company .

Avoid these guys. Ordered a $4.6k machine, with lots of upgraded stats, including upgraded RAM. When I got the machine, the RAM ran at 2.4Ghz instead of 4 I paid for. That's because the RAM wasn't on the motherboard manufacturer's QVL list.
When I called tech support, they offered either a partial refund for the RAM (why partial?) or to send me other, generic sticks, with no guarantee they'd work any better. In general support was unhelpful bordering on rude.
I'm never shopping with these guys again.
This company is known to be really bad with their customer support. However, I took the leap, and tried them anyways, because their prices are so good. The problem is, they didn't have what I ordered. It took 3 months to get ahold of them (benefit of the doubt because of Covid) to find this out. The problem is, they changed the number they go by on the PC from what it was originally on my invoice. On top of that, they took the liberty of changing my RAM of choice with their free RAM and gave me half the amount I ordered. So, when I contacted them about this, they keep saying that the PC doesn't match the invoice I took a screen shot of from their site. Note, it is the only invoice I have through them, and the only PC I own from them. So, now they are refusing to replace the RAM or sending me 2 more 8gb sticks to make the amount of 32gb that I ordered.
I reported an issue when I recieved my laptop about a purple spot on the display. I then started having issues with the computer rebooting. Before shipping off the unit I receieved a scratch on the display. I requested the display to be warrantied due to the purple dot issue that I reported within a few days of delivery. I am now being told I will have to pay for replacement due to a sratch that is completely unrealted to the purple dot. I also sent this laptop in late November and still have not recieved my laptop back as of 1/25/21
Unacceptable and at this point I will steer my customers away from CyberPower unless customer service improves.
I purchased direct from CyberPowers web site.
10 weeks later it would not boot up. I diagnosed it per their web site and determined is was a bad power supply.
Late November I started trying to contact Customer service, first by phone and after never getting an answer by email.
NOTHING at all until last week. The person on the phone promised I should have a new PS by the end of this week, and an email would be sent to show it had shipped.
Today I called, and they actually answered the phone. After placing me on hold for another 2 or 3 minutes, the guy says I'm sorry, but I can't find anything about your RMA# so I am transferring you.
Here I am still sitting 25 minutes later and not a swinging d$@# to talk to.
This is the worse experience I have ever had with anyone Customer Support, especially when under warranty.
I suggest you shop elsewhere.
Had the C series custom build paid nearly $1800 for the computer to have the motherboard and CPU go out 2 weeks out of warranty. Better yet, cyberpower has the worst customer service ever. So bad I have yet to get any response from multiple phone calls, emails I would urge everyone to stay away from cyberpower. I would rather have a $500 basic pc than this overpriced paperweight.

You can get customer service, but don't expect them to actually give you customer service. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever experienced.

I purchased from them before previously, but I will never shop here ever again. They lost a repeat customer with their terrible customer service.

They're a legit company, but they treat you like a criminal when you need help with whatever you purchase. You'd be better off shopping elsewhere.
